About the Conference

Orthodontists, United

This is a meeting for orthodontists, by orthodontists. No gimmicks, fluff, or celebrities – just a pearl-packed educational opportunity from respected voices that is designed to transform your practice with actionable tips and tricks with a fantastic ROI.

You’ll get guidance to help bridge the gap between epiphany and implementation, to get you to start DOING (aren’t we all tired of getting excited about what we COULD be doing, only to feel confused, isolated, and powerless in knowing where to start?).

We’re spicing it up with fresh tools and opportunities so you have more choices and can learn what we must do in the modern landscape to survive and thrive (and not allow more strident, corporate voices to drown us out).

Don’t miss this! Infinitely more valuable than a few helpful pearls . . . this is The Mother of Pearls!

Conference Details

Orthodontic Pearls has always been about keeping it real: being transparent and balanced, generously sharing information and techniques that will help each other, provide the best patient care, and lift our profession. The Mother of Pearls Conference is an extension of the aims of Orthodontic Pearls—respected voices coming together to do just that.

Set in a smaller and more intimate venue, the second annual MOPC aims to get you up close to the action and to rub shoulders with speakers and all your Pearls colleagues.

A weekend in October is a fantastic time to visit Southern California!

Designed to minimize or avoid doctors missing clinic days, the MOPC starts Friday, October 18th with a full day of lectures and continues with another full day on Saturday, October 19th —you’ll come away feeling empowered and excited (not overwhelmed).

Don’t miss this! When we say space is limited, it’s not just a cliche—it’s true!

Testimonials

"As an avid continuing education meeting attendee, I can honestly say that the Mother of Pearls Conference is hands down the best conference for up-to-date education, motivation, and networking.  What I gleaned in the 2 days last year was worth every single penny and more.  The organizers plan a jam-packed meeting filled with the BEST speakers in the Orthodontic world today--with hundreds of practical "pearls" I was able to implement in my practice right away.  The best part?-- NO FLUFF. The meeting was efficient, well-planned, and run BY ORTHODONTISTS FOR ORTHODONTISTS.  No conflicts of interest, no hidden agendas. It's truly a meeting that allows for our mutual trials and triumphs to be shared and celebrated, and I am grateful for the opportunity to attend again this October. Hats off to the MOPC team leaders! A conference worth it's weight in gold! Looking forward to hearing the rockstar speaker lineup for 2019!"

Lauren N. Manfred, DDS, MS

"The Mother of Pearls Conference was one of the best meetings I have ever attended. The venue was top notch and made for a warm and intimate environment. There was a good variety of speakers and vendors, and the content of the lectures was refreshingly candid and different. This is a meeting for Orthodontists who are passionate about our profession and that energy is engaging and inspiring. I will be back and I hope to see you there!"

Dr. Kyle Fagala

"I’ve attended numerous orthodontic meetings and honestly none compares to what these genuine group of orthodontists have put together at MOPC. Aside from practical clinical pearls, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of topics covered ranging from marketing and technology to practice management and patient engagement. The venue was state-of-the art and the meeting was extremely organized. With the orthodontic industry facing some of its most trying times in decades, it was truly refreshing to attend a conference that focused on empowering orthodontists and bringing back value to our profession with unique yet pertinent content. Excited for what’s to come in 2019!"
